New Member Benefit Added at FAMCC

Fredericksburg, Virginia - So you're already a member of FAMCC? Then you're in luck - because if you are a current member of the Museum, you will soon be entitled to free admission at more than 180 history museums across the country. Think you're a lapsed member? Then you may want to consider re-joining! Wait, you say you're not a member at all? Then you'll really want to join, because now, more than ever, your membership has added value!

Beginning November 1st, people who are members of the Museum are automatically members of the Time Travelers Network, sponsored by the Missouri Historical Society. According to Cheryl Schaefer, Program Administrator for the Time Travelers Network, this reciprocal agreement is valid at more than 180 history museums and historical societies across the United States - in at least 46 states - with more added every year! Members of FAMCC and other affiliated Time Travelers members receive a variety of special benefits, such as free or discounted admission or gift shop discounts, when they visit Time Travelers affiliates, some of which include multiple sites. Judy Jones, Director of Development & Public Affairs for FAMCC, commented that the reciprocal agreement with The Time Travelers Network is just one new benefit for Museum members. "We are working hard to develop additional benefits for friends of the Museum," she said. "This is just the first step in upgrading our membership program. We are very excited about this opportunity, and hope that our members will truly realize added value."

Ms. Jones noted that information regarding the Time Travelers Network will be sent to all eligible FAMCC members in early November.
