Where the Past Is Present… Where the Arts Are Alive

A large percentage of the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center’s funding for operational costs is provided by private sources. Individuals, foundations, and businesses make possible the fulfillment of our mission and our continued service to area students, visitors, and residents.

The Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center is restructuring to ensure its long-term financial viability. The museum will discontinue daily operations starting Friday, April 10, and then consolidate into one building—a dynamically reconceived Town Hall. If you value Fredericksburg’s nation-shaping history and the museum’s critical role in preserving and telling it, please consider supporting the Museum’s move to Town Hall by making a secured contribution through The Fund for the Fredericksburg Area Museum at Old Town Hall at The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region.
