Where the Past Is Present… Where the Arts Are Alive

Adult Programs

To complement our exhibitions and extensive collection of artifacts, FAMCC holds programs and events throughout the year that are both fun and educational. In addition to our regularly scheduled activities, new program initiatives are always under development.

Breakfast with the Curator

Enjoy a light breakfast with FAMCC’s Director of Collections and Exhibitions, Christopher Uebelhor as he gives a behind the scenes look at the Museum’s temporary exhibitions.

Culture and Cocktails

Culture and Cocktails is a great way to socialize with other Museum members and learn more about the objects in the Museum’s collection. Join FAMCC’s Director of Collections and Exhibitions, Christopher Uebelhor as he discusses several of these objects and answers questions in an informal conversation-type setting.

Bricks and Boards in the ‘Burg

Join FAMCC and Hallowed Ground Tours every Saturday morning, from April 7 through October 13, for architectural walking tours of historic downtown. The tour will highlight four centuries of history and architecture, the historical influence of the Rappahannock River, the Spires and Steeples of Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg’s Town Hall/Market House, and the history of Market Square.

Evening with an Expert

FAMCC’s Evening with an Expert lecture series brings in local and regional scholars to present lectures on topics related to the Museum’s permanent or temporary exhibitions.
