About Fredericksburg Women and the Civil Rights Movement

Join us March 8th from 1-3 PM for Second Saturdays at the Museum. Come learn about female Civil Rights leaders in Fredericksburg in honor of Womens History Month. This month, kids and their caregivers will make protest buttons and paper buses as we explore shapes and slogans and talk about segregation, The Freedom Rides, and women who have made a difference in Fredericksburg during the Civil Rights Movement. The program will be held in the exhibition,  Our Community.
