About Neighborhood Tours - History of Our Homes

Participants on this walking tour, titled Neighborhood Tours-- History of Our Homes, will walk through one of the most prominent residential areas of Fredericksburg’s Historic District, including Lower Caroline Street and Washington Avenue. Tour guides will discuss centuries of architecture and will unravel the histories of people who helped shape the Fredericksburg community. The meet up spots for the specialty tours will vary by neighborhood.

About Downtown – Charles Street and Princess Anne Street

Join us on as we explore the homes and history of one of the City’s oldest neighborhoods. Tour guides will discuss centuries of architecture and will unravel the histories of people who helped shape the Fredericksburg community.On April 6, your guide will discuss Downtown Fredericksburg along Charles Street and Princess Anne Street. In addition to highlighting stories of the residents of the area, this tour will explore the history and architecture of one of America’s classic streetscapes. This tour will begin at 11:30 and depart from Market Square and last approximately 75 minutes.

The cost is $5/adult $2/child and $2/student. Participants will receive a discounted entry fee into the Museum. The tour is FREE for Museum members.
