About Evening with an Expert

FAMCC's Evening with an Expert lecture series brings in local and regional scholars to present lectures on topics related to the Museum's permanent or temporary exhibitions. Lectures are held in the Mansard Gallery at 1001 Princess Anne Street. Doors open at 6:30pm with the lecture commencing at 7:00pm. This program is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are required. Please RSVP to Tramia Jackson at tjackson@famcc.org or call 540.371.3037 x400. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

About And Freedom Marches on: Evening with the Artist

On May 14, local artist, teacher and civil rights activist, Johnny Johnson, will discuss his artwork from the Community Artist: Johnny Johnson exhibition.  This exhibition features more than a dozen paintings with subject matter dealing with past and present social issues from a local and national standpoint.

Evening with an Expert is sponsored by BB&T and is free and open to the public.   Lectures will be held in the Museum’s Mansard Gallery beginning at 7:00 pm at 1001 Princess Anne Street.  Doors will open at 6:30 pm and limited seating is available. A member’s only reception will follow in the galleries.
