Have you ever dreamed of owning a pair of custom-designed shoes? Now’s your chance. Spend an afternoon with friends, light refreshments, and the creative inspiration of artist Jeremy Moore at the final Woman Adorned artist workshop Boogie Shoes on Saturday, August 23, 1 – 4pm at the Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center. This workshop is for 13 and older.  Mr. Moore’s easy step by step demonstration will teach you how to decorate them with your name, original designs and anything else you can think of. It will also cover how to photograph, weatherproof and care for your wearable artwork. This workshop will focus on using paint/markers to customize canvas (fabric) shoes and will also include brief instruction on working with leather shoes as well.

Cost: $40, plus the cost of shoes
Ages: 13+

Participants are asked to provide a BRAND NEW pair of white or lightly colored canvas shoes and inspiration. All other materials will be provided.
